*WISDOM FOR TODAY* *FEAR GOD!* *Scripture Treasure.* Exd 5:2 *And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.* *Insight and Highlight.* Children of men who refused to fear God will fear Him when they see His power. Exd 10:8 *And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the Lord your God:..."* *Scripture Commentaries.* We live in a strange world. Though the fear of man brings snare, people still choose to fear men than God. Pharaoh did not fear God until He saw the power of God. People who choose to rebel against God, do so because they have not seen the power of God. Prayer changes evil hearts. So also persuasive charge, as seen between Moses and Pharaoh, changes evil hearts. There is no leader or stronghold too powerful for God to crush. In today's world, every vote, selection, trust that ordinarily leads men in office to act rightly is now absent. Conscience is dead, and there is no love for the people, no fear of God. People are most driven by their evil motives than the righteous purpose to supply the much needed justice and service. Prayer changes things, even turning the hardest hardened heart to submit to the living God. It changed the heart of the unjust judge to favor the poor widow, in Luke 18. Do you see someone who does not fear God? Pray God to visit him in His power. Do not give up. Pray without ceazing, 1 Thess 5:17. *Remorse corner.* There is no man who does not fear God that his fearlessness will not be a snare to him. Luke 18:4-5 ► *And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;* *Yet because this widow troubleth me,* *I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.* *Call to Word action.* The greatest and most terrible predicament that can befall any mortal is the fear of a fellow mortal over God. Proverbs 29:25 ► *The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.* *The Christian clarion duty.* When you fear God, men will fear you. When they fail to fear you they cannot fare until they are fair to you.. *Prayer.* Lord, let your fear be in the hearts on men, in Jesus name. Good morning all and have a blessed day. God bless you.
