*Insight and Highlight.*
If it is worth doingl, then it is worth doing well.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The Christian life is a life of hopes, aspirations, goal settings all built up in expectations.
We all have expectations of Heaven, we have expectations that our Lord will come one day and we shall be caught up with Him, expectations of good success both here on earth and in the world to come, ref Mark 10:28-30.
The Apostle Paul says in Romans 8:24
*For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?*
Here Paul is saying that in hope we have a firm belief/faith that something of present and eternal value will happen in future according to our hope.
What we are unable to see by hope we see by faith, ref 2 Cor 5:7.
This was what made Abraham *"Who against hope believed in hope,...."*, Rom 4:18.
Our expectations are based on the word and promises of God, Ps 62:5.
So Abraham, who against hope believed in hope *".....that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.*, Rom 4:18.
Paul had an expectation of the present and of his eternal reward, Phlp 3:13-14.
When you build your expectations on God's promises, He will grant you the grace to exceed it.
He exceeded expectations. For the sake of souls, Paul did not only spend, he futher said he *"...will gladly spend myself and all I have for you,* 2 Cor 12:15 ,(NIV)
This month, you will not do little things or somethings, you will do all things, ref Phlp 4:13.
*Remorse corner.*
Do not limit yourself. You can go above and beyond the call of duty: go the extra mile!
*Call to Word action.*
If God your Father could exceed expectations, then you as His child ought to exceed what is expected of you (ref Eph 3:20.
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Your expectation is your prospect:
Do not live without an expectation. God expects you have an expectation, Prov 24:14. He promises to give you your expectaion,, Jer 29:11.
*Prayer.*
Lord, let not my expectations be cut off.
Let me attain and fulfill, and exceed expectations, in Jesus name.
This month may you attain all God expects of you, may you exceed expectations.
Good morning all and a happy new month of July to you. It is our month of *EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS*
God bless you.
