Gen 3:22 *And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:*
*Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.*
*So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.*

Eccl 8:13 *But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.*
*Scripture Commentaries.*
God is cautious, an ardent planner who already made arrangements for the solutions to our problems before we fell into them. This is because He knows the end from the beginning.
He removed Adam and Eve from the garden so that they would not again be tempted to eat *"....the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:*, Gen 3:22.
God did this to ensure the wicked and sinful do not live forever. There are people in this world who are so wicked, and they take pride in their wickedness. As it is today, we had the most wicked people who had lived in history, and this was across nations in the world.
Imagine if such wicked people are still living today.
Therefore, just as everyone detests death of any form or age, it is God's preventive way to ensure wickedness is put to death.
Though it is perpetuated but we know it loses its strength when wicked people do not live forever. At least, they know there is an appointed time to die, and judgment will follow, Heb 9:27.
Let the wicked change today. God hates sin.
Isaiah 55:7 *Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.*
Christ is faithful and just to forgive if you confess your sins, 1 John 1:9.
He has no pleasure in a sinner's death. John 3:16, 2 Pet 3:9.
Make the choice for Jesus today!

The wicked must know that there is also eternity in Hell, and it will be longer.

Turn away a soul from hell today by winning him/her to Christ.

Lord, shine Your light in the darkness hovering the world. Put an end to all wickedness in my life, in Jesus name.
