2 Cor 9: 10-11: *Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)*

*Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

God multiplies. The essence of God is to give more than He had received.

Whether we give or not does not affect God's resources. He gives more than He receives. He is faithful to His word, Acts 20:35, *"....the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”*

Whatever you give God, He increases and returns to you more than you gave, 1 Kgs 3, 2 Sam 6:11.

Some scriptures teach us how giving is evaluated in the Kingdom of God.

First, God can give back to us exactly according to what we give to Him.

What we receive from Him can be commensurate to what we give,

2 Cor 9:6. *But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.*

So what we receive from God in return may depend on what we gave Him.

Also, Luke 6:38 teaches that when we give, it shall be given unto us. lt further illustrates that the amount you give will determine the amount you get back.

Second, giving depends on how much you have, but it is not discouraged even when there is little.

2 Cor 8:12 *For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.*

Third, giving is a heart. A heart that is sold to God will purpose something good for the Lord. It is according to what you have purposed in your heart, 2 Cor 9:7

*Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.*

Let us be rich towards God.

There is no one God has not enriched to multiply in order to do something for the Kingdom, Matt 25:15.

2 Cor 9:8 *And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:*

You are enriched when you are rich towards God.

Lord, help me to be rich towards You, in Jesus name.
