*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*DOES GOD SEEM TO DELAY?*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Prov 10:22 *The blessing of the LORD, it. maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
God often delays that blessings you most desired in order to equip you for the attacks that may come because of the blessing.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Prov 10:22 teaches us God's blessing makes us rich and merry.
It further teaches us that the conditions to God’s blessings are such that we do not have to trade off our lives, to receive His blessings.
People build their joy on other people's sorrow.
People do many bad things to be rich but in God, if we can patiently wait, we will receive His blessings with no sorrow to ourselves or any other person.
We must however note that God's blessing may not be without enemy attacks.
Isaac was blessed by God. *"....he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him."*, Gen 26:14.
They frustrated him until he finally dug a well that they could not strive with him. He named it *".....Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.*, Gen 26:22.
God prepared Isaac long before the the Philistines' contention.
His patience was remarkable. It started in the land of Moriah when his father, Abraham, was directed by God to sacrifice him. He patently waited on his father to sacrifice him when there was no hope he could escape or be spared alive to tell the story, Gen 22.
God could be testing you during your waiting room experience in order to prepare you for what you are requesting in prayer.
Isaac's patience paid off. He was able to stand resolutely and remained undaunted to resist and stand against the Philistines' envy and obstructions and achieve his ultimate vision and goal.
How resilient you are today will determine how well you will be able to resist Satan anytime he rears up his ugly heads to fight against you when your blessings come.
*Remorse corner.*
The answers to your prayers may appear delayed if God is willing to prepare you for what is to come.
*Call to Word action.*
You will not die waiting on God. It may appear He is delaying but He is only working things out for your good.
Gen 26: 22 *And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
When you are set for the top, the kingdom of Satan will make you a topic for destruction. By the time God answers you He will make you head. You become a headline, a top notch warrior and conqueror who could resist Satan steadfastly.
*Prayer.*
Lord help me to accept Your will and patiently wait for it. Help me to always believe everything will work out for my good, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
