*Insight and Highlight.*

John 1:29 *The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Jesus knew John the Baptist, and he knew Jesus.

Some claim to know Jesus, but Jesus does not know them.

Many know sin more than they know Jesus.

It is an irony that everyone is quick to identify wrongdoing. We are quick to know evil from good, yet people delight in doing it. Everyone has a finger he/she points at evil and its doers, yet we are partakers of it at different levels.

If mankind could see that God is holy and that sin is bad before God, why would the same mankind not believe that sin must be taken away for us to have access to the Holy God?

We all do not like people who hurt or sin against us.

The only way people who hurt us can be reconciled to us is if they repent and change from their evil ways. Once they promise they would not hurt us or continue in their evil and we see they have changed, then we resume our relationship with them.

There is, however, something about sin. People choose it because the pleasure people get from sin does not allow them to remember the pain the sin will eventially bring to them.

Therefore, the change that could make a sinner to turn from his evil ways is more than meets the eye.

The change can only come from God.

Humans can not just change from their evil ways. They need more than the human spirit to convince and convict them. They need the Holy Spirit.

This is why Jesus was sent. God can not die, but He brought Himself in the form of a human being like you and l.

This God in human form was beaten and humiliated because this is what sin causes. He died because the Rom 6:23 says *"For the wages of sin is death..."*. Christ died so that sin may be taken away.

So, for us to be reconciled to the Holy God, God commands we come through the One who took sin away and cleansed us.

When you do this, you will be accepted by God.

God said this is the one and acceptable true way, John 14:6.

Any teaching that tells you you are acceptable to God without acknowledging that sin has been dealt with and conquered, or just come to God without repenting and accepting God's sacrifice of His Son, is an error.

If you refuse to accept unrepentant wicked people to come back to your friendship, why did you think God would accept just anyone without Christ, the acceptable sacrifice for the sins of mankind?

Do you know Jesus, and does He know you?

Have you accepted Him as Lord and personal Savior?

Are you cleansed from your sins?

Forgiveness is available through Jesus , the only acceptable sacrifice for the sins of the world.
