DO YOU HAVE THE TIME?(2)

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*DO YOU HAVE THE TIME? (2)*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

John 9:4 *I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

You will give time to whatever you prioritize. If you set your mind to do it, you will have time for it.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

There is a saying that goes 'make hay while the sun shines'. This idiom is used to advise one to take advantage of favorable circumstances because they may not last.

Do what you can do today because you do not know what tomorrow will be. You may not be able to do what you fail to do today tomorrow.

Some people even wish there were more than twenty four hours a day.

If they are people who do not value time, more than twenty-four hours a day will not be enough for them to get things done.

There is always time when there is no time. There will always be time for what you value for attention, and you will manage your time well to accommodate it

The best manager of time is the one who manages time to do what He wants to do because he prioritizes it.

Oftentimes, we find ourselves saying there is no time to do something.

When this omission repeats itself over and over again, the truth is because we lack interest in doing that thing.

When you are used to not doing something, you will get used to not doing it.

So when you find yourself repeatedly saying you have no time doing something, you are simply not interested in that very thing. That very thing you fail to do is not your things.

You will never abandon what you love to embrace.

The story behind the idiom 'make hay while the sun shines' tells us that when it is hot, farmers make haste to gather the hay because if they fail to do this today, the rain may fall tomorrow and make the hay wet and thereby lose its dryness.

These farmers are just like, as Solomon said it.

Solomon says in Prov 10: 5 *He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.*

Solomon is saying that a true farmer will not lie to him/herself. He will gather in the summer.

When the motive is right, the time is right. When the priority is set, there will always be a right time to do it.

Prov 6:8 says about the dilligent, hardworking, and committed ant saying it *Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.*

Do you say you have no time to do something?

Tell yourself the truth, you are not interested in that thing!

*Remorse corner .*

Procrastination is one of the major indicators of a lack of interest.

*Call to Word action.*

When you have no time to do something, you will never have time to do it. Whatever is a priority will require haste!

David said to Ahimelech in 1 Samuel 21:8 *".....the king's business required haste.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

When you find yourself repeatedly postponing or procrastinating over a thing, tell yourself the truth about your interest in that very thing. You do not want to do it.

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me to set my mind on what I want to do. Let me tell myself the truth and set my time judiciously for it, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
