*WISDOM FOR TODAY*
*DO NOT WRITE YOURSELF OFF.*
*Scripture Treasure.*
*Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.*
*What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.* Job 39:17-18
*Insight and Highlight.*
You are created according to God's design, ref Ps 139:14. As the eagle is endowed with wisdom for strength,
ref Is 40 :31 so also the ostrich, though deprived of wisdom, is the king of birds and considered swiftest, even than the horse, ref Job 39:18.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The eagle and the ostrich are birds of extremes. The eagle is wise, the ostrich is not as wise as God made man and other animals, ref Job 35:11.
Both the eagle and the ostrich, however, fulfil the purposes of God's design for their existence.
The scripture describes the ostrich as a bird that eats iron and any harmful object. She is careless with the eggs that she lays, ref Job 39: 13-16
She is an unwise bird by God's providence ref Job 39:17, cruel; ref Lam 4:3, yet has the strength of a noble hearing and when aroused, will match the speed of a fleeting horse in pursuit, Job 39:18 *But whenever she jumps up to run, she passes the swiftest horse with its rider.* She is refered as to as the king of birds!
If you are thinking of writing yourself off, I wish to assure you that God distributed wisdom to the wise and the one whom He has given no wisdom, is not without a wise design of God.
Furthermore, he who has no wisdom can ask for it , ref Jam 1:5.
Just as in the trials that the Godly go through which seems unreasonable to man, so the wisdom God has imparted in you may not be fully seen by those who write you off.
Are you weak or you may even be considered cruel or unwise, uncaring, timid, foolish as an ostrich, as an adage goes?
God revealed to Job that though the ostrich is least endowed, she is not without the quality of a noble hearing.
God says, she is not so foolish not to fly herself to safety from the horse and the rider!
She is swift and powerful, can lift itself up to its full elevation that no horse can equal, ref Job 39:13, 18.
If the eagle can mount up with wings, so also can you lift yourself to elevation like the ostrich.
*Word Action.*
Do not write yourself off! Rise up!
*Call to Word action.*
There is no one creation of God so bad that will not fulfil the plan of God.
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Be assured there lies in you that hidden and wise design of God.
*Prayer.*
I declare and discover the plan of God for my life. I will fulfill God's purposes for my life in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day.
God bless you.
