1 Cor 16:9 *What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?*

*Insight and Highlight.*

When your body becomes a temple of God, it can not be a shrine or coven for Satan.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Sin desecrates the temple of God.

When sin desecrates it, it changes from the temple of God to the temple of idols.

Desecration is an abomination because it is a violation of the sacredness of God. His holiness is abused. It is something that causes disgust and is contemptible to God.

Jesus refers to the abomination of the temple in Matt 24:15-16. Daniel refers to it in Daniel 9:27, 12:11, 11:31.

The abomination that causes desolation is referred to as a future event in Daniel which tells us that the abominations we see today is small compared to what is coming at the end of age.

If you give room to Satan, you are already an abomination that will cause desolation.

You will cause desolation in your body because the Holy Spirit will leave.

Sin can not be where God is.

God can not be unequaly yoked so He urges that we do not be unequally yoked.

2 Cor 6:14 *Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?*

Jesus says Matt 11: 25, 30:

*Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:*

*He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.*

Everyone is either housing Christ or Satan. You can not harbour both.

While some claim Jesus is in them, they have none of His.

Paul tells us that only when Christ is in us are we assured of the hope of glory, Col 1:27.

Is Christ in you or you have given room to Satan?

If you give Satan an inch, he will take a mile!

Do not give room to Satan!

When Christ resides in you, Satan can not have a room in you.

1 Cor 15:19  *If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Living for Christ today extends beyond this present life. It has eternal values.

*Prayer.*

Lord fill me up so much that Satan will not have anywhere to fill in me.
