*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*DIVINE IMMUNITY (3).*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Numbers 23:21, 23.

*He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.*

*Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!*

*Insight and Highlight.*

God loves us all, but He treats us differently, yet there is no partiality with God, Deut 10:17, Rom 2:11 and there is no unrighteousness with Him, Rom 9:14.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

There are three of many sayings by elders that may seek to find expression in God"s word.

First, elders say that the way a child of a slave is born is the same as the way the child of the rich is born.

Second, they say a patridge is not taller than another patridge except if one stands on a base that will make it taller than the other.

Third, they say the same way the shape of a monkey's head is the same as a baboon's

Elders do speak wisdom, and there are gain and values speaking to them

Job 12:12 tells us that *Wisdom belongs to the aged, and understanding to the old,*

All three sayings of the elders point to one truth, and this truth is equality.

However, we may be born equally, but not everyone has equal opportunities and privileges in life. Riches and poverty project different circumstances and opportunities that may not allow everyone to achieve equal privileges, opportunities, and privileges in order to achieve equal outcomes.

For example babies born to rich parents are privileged to achieve better education, living and influential connections whereas children of the poor though born the same way are not able to have the privileges needed to achieve equal outcome as the children of the rich.

The rich and poor are in the same life, but life treats them differently.

In God's words and ways, we can honestly see that though God loves us equally, He deals with us differently.

First, He gives some stature, 2 Kgs 1:1-8, Numb 12:1-8.

Second, He does not impute sin on some. He speaks of them as if they have never sinned.

In Numbers 23:21, He said He had not seen any iniquity in Jacob nor perverseness in Israel.

In John 1:47, Jesus saw Nathanael and *......Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!*

Psalm 32:1-2 *Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.*

*Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.*

Rom 4:8 tells us, *"Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin"*

He anoints some over and above their brethren, Heb 1:9.

Whereas there are some that God remembers to unleash vengeance, 1 Sam 15:1.

David, though received forgiveness, did not escape the consequences of his sin, 2 Sam 11-12.

God loved Jacob to choose him over Esau. He hated Esau. He would not choose him as a lineage of His covenant, Rom 9:13.

While some did not die, Gen 5:24, 2 Kgs 2:11. Some died, Deut 34:5-7, 2 Kgs 13:20-21.

There are those whom God reveals His ways to. He will not do anything without letting them know, Gen 18:17, Amos 3:7. Ps 103:7.

There are God's special people, and they enjoy special immunity and privileges not common to others.

It is important to note that these special people by no means make others less to God, ref 1 Kgs 19:18, Rom 11:4. Others who may not be special to Him are not without their divine immunity, Luke 10:19. They are still His beloved ref Prov 8:17.

Divine immunity is God's will. Not so much about us but about God, Rom 9:16.

*Remorse corner.*

Our divine immunity is a subject of God's willingness to give right or privilege exclusive to a particular individual or people.

*Call to Word action.*

Mercy is His prerogative. He gives to whom He wishes.

Romans 9:15 *For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

God loves us all, but He treats us differently. At what point can we be special before God? God's predestination, loving righteousness, His choice of us are key, but it is all about God's unquestionable and sovereign attribute, ref Rom 11:33.

*Prayer.*

Lord, make me special before You in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and be blessed as you come into His presence.

God bless you.
