Numb 23:23 *Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!*

Numbers 23:8  *How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

In all we do we must avoid curses by keeping away from anything that can open doors to them.

As long as you do not desecrate your faith in Christ, though the enemy may choose to curse you (Numb 22:6, Ps 37:32), their curses will have no effect on you. As a matter of truth, scripture provides that they cannot curse you, Numb 23:8.

Anyone who tries to curse you will only undo him/herself. How? This is because curses can go back to sender, Gen 12:3

*And I will....... curse him that curseth thee:...."* Also Eccl 10:8a says *He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it;..... "*

If however, you dip yourself into sin, you will break the edge of protection. The edge of protection is God’s banner and covering over you. Once this is removed, Satan will have his way, Eccl 10:8b says *".....and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him."*

Sin is an accelerant of curses. It opens doors to curses. We must do everything within the provisions of God's word to avoid being our own enemies.

Two very important notes to us all are: knowing how we stand and more importantly knowing who we are.

The worst enemy of a person can be the person him/herself.

Make sure you do not open the doors of your life to curses.

Make sure you are not the root of the curses operating in your life. If you are, you may be praying against yourself.

Do not let the only thing standing between you and the reversal of curses be you.

May you not be the source of your own problems, in Jesus name.

Once you know you are not your own enemy and you are sure God is your Friend, you have no reason to fear curses or any enemy vices, Heb 13:6.

*Call to Word action.*

Prov 26:2 *As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.*

Abstain from anything that will bring about a curse, 1 Thess 5:22, 2 Tim 2:22,

*Prayer.*

Let every curse targeted towards me and my family go back to sender, in Jesus name.
