Philippians 4:6-8 *Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.*

*And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.*

Anything that is too big enough to worry about is big enough to pray about.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Do you find your situation too worrisome that you cannot pray?

Your situation cannot be as bad as that of a person who knows the exact moment and day of his death.

We all have our worries. It is not a surprise to God that we worry. This is why He admonishes severally in the scriptures that we worry not.

All worries can be highly overwhelming.

Worrying is a form of anxiety and anxiety attacks our minds.

If anxiety attacks, our minds will lose peace. At this time we must seek God for help immediately or else evil thoughts will take over and control our minds.

When people are worried and overwhelmed by it, the thoughts of suicide can creep in.

Elijah was overwhelmed with worries and he said to God: *".....and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers."*, 1 Kgs 19:4.

There are times we also worry on things we ought not worry about. This varies from individual to another. Whichever form our worrying takes, God can calm the anxious thoughts in our minds, when we call on Him and help us refocus on what He needs us to be concerned about.

Paul, in our text of today, admonishes that when we pray, God can calm us and send His peace that passes all understanding.

Anytime you can't pray or do not know what you ought to pray for, let it be the time you must pray.

Can't pray? Oh yes you can!

Say something about your situation to God.

Help is avalable through the Spirit, if only you can make the move, Rom 8:26.

Will you please pray over your worries and anxieties?

*Remorse corner.*

A worried mind, left unattended to, is a dying mind.

Psalm 34:6 *This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

1 Peter 5:7 *Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.*

Lord, lead me to pray in my times of worries and anxiety. Hear me when l pray and send your peace to me, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
