*BE CAUTIOUS AND WISE.*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Eccl 10:8-10 ► *He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.*
*Whoso removeth stones shall be hurt therewith; and he that cleaveth wood shall be endangered thereby.*
*If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
A wise person suspects danger and cautiously avoids evil, But the fool, because he is arrogant gets into trouble.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Wisdom is defined as the right aplication of knowledge.
Sometimes the elders are not wise. Sometimes the aged do not understand justice, ref Job 32:9.
It is important for us to know that those who seek wisdom must seek to apply it to their daily undertakings.
A summary of Eccl 10:8-10 say:
*"...He that diggeth a pit......"*
*"...Whoso removeth stones shall be hurt..."*
*If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength:.."*
All the above point to one thing and this is that: "true wisdom takes into account the risks and difficulties of life"
True wisdom dictates that we first think about the consequences of our actions before we act.
Only the wise person is kept from harm because he or she knows the consequences of his actions. He contemplates what could happen and is careful to avoid pitfall.
There is an English maxim that says "look before you leap".
Be extra careful and stay out of trouble.
Be cautious, watch and pray. Be wise!
Are you wise enough to see what would happen if you fail to avoid that pitfall?
*Remorse corner.*
Prov 14:16 *A wise man feareth , and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.*
*Call to Word action.*
Prov 22:3 *The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty*.
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Prov 27:12 *A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.*
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me to be wise with the fear of God, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day.
God bless you
