AROUSE LOVE, UNINTERRUPTED

*AROUSE LOVE, UNINTERRUPTED.*
Songs of Solomon (SoS) 2:7
*I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Do not play with a woman's emotions.
Solomon wrote Songs of Songs in his young age.
Most, if not all, he wrote were sensual in nature. Many may wonder how his writings made their way into the Holy Bible.
The best explanations one could offer are:
First they were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Second, they tell us that God is romantic.
Third, sexual pleasure is encouraged by God as long as it is within the God's ordained marriage relationship.
In SoS 2:7, we can deduce two things from Solomon
First, men must be careful not to stir up a woman's emotions until it is so desired.
Do not start love when you are not willing to love. Do not arouse or awaken love until it is so desired
Do not lie to love or pretend to love.
Second, single Christians should prayerfully wait patiently for true love, and not just take the first one who comes along.
Love only when it is the appropriate time. That is, when it pleases you from your heart to enter into a loving relationship.
Never awaken love before it is ready.
When you arouse love and break away, this points to emotional abuse.
Heart brokenness, suicides, infidelity are three of many direct consequences of love aroused but abandoned or unfulfilled.
Remember, as beautiful and powerful as love is, Solomon equalled it with death.
Sos 8:6 *".....for love is strong as death..."*
Why? Love can be a matter of life and death.
People die for love when they feel unloved.
People die for love when they are in love.
How? People are made alive when they are loved. They say "l am dying for your love which translates "l want your love"*
So love becomes a matter of life and death.
If well handled in the fear of God, leads to life.
If handled carnally, it leads to death.
Are you ready for Godly love, the love that makes alive?
If you cannot wait and be patient on love, do not start it.
*Call to Word action.*
Let your left hand be under her head and your right hand embrace her.
SoS 2:6 *His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Do not toy, jest with anyone's emotions.
Let me not kill love but make love alive in the fear of God, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
