*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*ARE YOU PREPARED FOR CHRIST'S SECOND COMING? (3).*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Zechariah 12:10 *And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Some or many will miss out on catching up with Christ.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The Apostle Peter records of some who said, *".....Where is the promise of his coming?" for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.* (2 Pet 3:4).
The bible does not tell us when Jesus is coming back.
Acts 1:9 and other notable passages tell us He will come back again.
Peter teaches that God is not limited by time. He can not be out of time, and He does not count time as we count it, ref 2 Pet 3:8.
Christians, believers in Christ will not experience the tribulation of seven years. They would have joined Jesus in the sky, 2 Thess 4:17
There will be many regrets by those who did not make the catching up.
Zechariah 12:10, which says that Jerusalem’s inhabitants will mourn when they see *“the one they have pierced.”*
Rev 1:7 says *Look, he is coming with the clouds,’ and ‘every eye will see him, even those who pierced him’; and all peoples on earth ‘will mourn because of him.’ So shall it be! Amen.”*
The gnashing of teeth or any form of regrets will not wait until hell. It will begin with regretful tears from those left behind after the rapture and will go on unceasingly.
More painful is the gnashing of teeth in hell. While tears are no more in Heaven , they will be rolling with wailing and torments in hell.
Rapture is a one-time end-time event. There will be none like it again.
There will be no second chance.
Remember, Jesus will be coming to take His saints in what we termed the rapture, but will you be among them?
*Remorse corner.*
There will be regrets at Jesus's second coming.
*Call to Word action.*
In order not to miss out on the rapture, do not miss out on salvation.
Titus 2: 11-13 *For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,*
*Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;*
*Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Live expectantly until Jesus comes again.
*Prayer.*
Lord, stir and prepare my heart for the earnest longing for Christ's return, in Jesus name.
Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
