*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*ARE YOU INNOCENT (2)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Psalm 2:2-4 *The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,*

*Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.*

*He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

In Daniel's innocence was found his uncompromising loyalty to God.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Daniel's uncompromising faithfulness to God and His word stand as good examples to all believers.

We must demonstrate what we preach and profess, even in the most difficult situations, without compromising our Biblical convictions.

This is the only way God can be glorified in our lives and others.

Though he knew the danger, Daniel kept the windows opened toward Jerusalem, Dan 6:10.

The king knew of Daniel's faithfulness to his God therefore he *"....set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he labored till the going down of the sun to deliver him."*, Daniel 6: 14.

The king further said *"...unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee."*, Daniel 6:16.

Daniel whose name means "God is my judge" proved to be true and showed in his conduct.

How faithful are you to God?

How do you faithfully conduct yourself?

Will you be found innocent by the way you conduct yourself?

*Remorse corner.*

How does your innocence impact others?

Daniel's innocence was expressed in the king's hope that God would deliver Daniel, Dan 6: 16.

*Call to Word action.*

Dan 6:23 *Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

We must never allow anything to cause us to neglect the true service, our daily prayer and devotion to God. Daniel's true devotion worked in the heart of the heathen king.

*Prayer*.

Lord, let my innocence in true service to You work in the heart of fellow believers and the heathen, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
