*ARE YOU INNOCENT?*

Dan 6:7: *All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Isaiah 54:15 *Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.*
*Scripture Commentaries.*
There is no limit of rank or status of people who conspire against the believer.
Daniel was just promoted *"....that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom."* during the reign of King Darius.
Over three presients, *"....Daniel was first:...."*, Daniel 5:29, 6:2.
Some people in high places, though under him, became jealous because of his promotion.
They plotted to make an issue of his faithfulness to the law of his God.
They prevailed over king Darius to issue a decree that they knew Daniel would not obey. Daniel will not disobey the king and authority but if the decree is against the God he served, he will rather obey God that man.
The decree was against God, Dan 6:12.
The king issued a death penalty to Daniel.
Daniel was cast into the lion's den. His God delivered him. Daniel said God did so because *"...innocency was found in me..."*
Do you want God's deliverance?
Are you innocent before God?
Are you innocent enough for God to fight for you?
If you are not innocent before Him, go to Him today. He must declare you innocent in order for you to avoid the wrath to come, ref 1 Thess 1:10.
*Remorse corner.*
To be innocent before God, you must have *"...done no hurt."*, Dan 6:22
*Call to Word action.*
Daniel 6:22 *My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Whatever hurt you have done, unrepented, will surely have a reprisal. No one can hide from God.
Dan 6:24 *"......they brought those men which had accused Daniel and they cast them into the den of lions, them their children and their wives and the lions made a mastery of them...."*
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me. Let me walk in innocence, in Jesus name.
