*But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.*
*Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
The anointed can not work contrary to his consecration.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Jesus, in His statement, in John 5: 17, 19 tells us that He could not do anything of Himself. He could only do what His Father did.
His words are very important for the anointed for the anointing of God upon him/her his/her to work.
The disciple of Christ must work according to God's order of service.
The ones anointed for supernatural exploits must never deviate from the conditions necessarily for the anointing to work.
For the anointing to work:
First, the anointed can not cast out demons but by the Spirit of God.
Jesus told the Pharisees who had accused Him of casting out demons by Beelzebub, Matt 12:24, that if He cast out demons by Beelzebul, then the Kingdom of God is far from the Pharisees.
In Matt 12:28, He told them, *"But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.*
The Pharisees should also know that for Satanic demonization to be destroyed, only God can do it. Satan can not! Matt 12:24-26
Second, any anointing that is manifested in the Spirit of God will bring the Kingdom of God along with it.
An anointing that brings deliverance from God can never work without the Holy Spirit.
We must know that an apparent and indisputable manifestation of an anointing can be working of Satan, Matt 24:24.
As good as miracles are, Jesus in Lk 10:20, warned of the danger of prevailing miracles over salvation and eternal life.
When miracles are the working of Satan, they are not of God. Such are done to propagate the kingdom of Satan.
There are miracles in the kingdom of Satan, ref Exd 7:8-12. Acts 16:16, 2 Cor 11: 13-15.
Such miracles from Satan can not provide deliverance for those Satan himself had afflicted or kept under his bondage, (ref Isaiah 49:24-26) because if *".....Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?*, Matt 12:25.
Jesus made further clarifications in
Matt 12:27 that the people of Satan are able to know and judge within themselves that the miracle is by Beelzebub because their households belonged to Beelzebub, Matt 10:25. It is the god they know and serve.
Jesus tells us that we will know the kind of miracles people perform by whom they serve. We will know who people serve by the miracles they perform.
To illustrate this, Jesus says ,*"......a disciple will be as his master and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?"* Matt 10:25
Jesus is making it clear that the anointed of God is known by Christ because the disciple and servant will be like his master and lord, Matt 10:24, Acts 3:6.
Likewise, the disciple and servant of Satan will be like their master and lord, Satan, 2 Cor 11:14-15, ref Acts 19:13-14.
A servant will be recognized by the master he serves, and to him will he obey!, Rom 6:16.
The true anointing you receive must show the Christ who gave it in you!

As the Son can do nothing of Himself, *".....but what he seeth the Father do:...."* so the anointed of Christ will do *"....what things soever....."* his/her Father does, ref John 15:19.
*Call to Word action.*
Oftentimes, the anointed is accused of performing miracles by Beelzebub, Matt 12:24. No matter how people may ascribe Christ's miracles to Beelzebub, the anointed will be vindicated and justified by the miracles he did in Christ
Matt 11:19 *".....But wisdom is justified of her children."*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
In the lives of those who respond to Christ, whatever the anointed of Christ does, God's wisdom will be shown to be true by its results on the anointed and the recipient of the anointing.
*Prayer.*
Let the anointing l have received justify that l am a true child of God, in Jesus name.
