*Scripture Treasure.*Micah 3:8 *But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.*

*Insight and Highlight.*The Spirit of God is power.

*Scripture Commentaries.*For many who say the Old Testament has no relevance to the Church today are proved wrong by the words of the Prophet Micah. He, as we see in other Old Testaments, brings to us the power of God in the Holy Spirit.Jesus gave us perfect examples that butress Micah with several importance.Though we will mention a few but they are distinguished. These are: First, Jesus made us know the importance of water baptism to every believer because He was baptized and refused to be talked out of it by John the Baptist.John said he should be baptised by Jesus, but Jesus told John ,*" is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness...."*.Then John the baptise agreed, Matt 3:14-15.Second, after Jesus came out of the water of Jordan, He prayed, and the Heaven was opened, and He was baptised in the Holy Ghost.Luke 3: 21-22 *Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,**And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.*Here, Jesus teaches us the essence of prayer in order to receive the Spirit's baptism.Third, Jesus taught us the importance of receiving the Holy Ghost baptism before we go into ministry. Acts 1:8 says just as Jesus told the disciples to wait for the Holy Ghost.Luke 4:1 tells us what followed after the Holy Ghost baptism in Jordan, Luke 3:21-22Luke 4:1 says, *"And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,"*Jesus did not start ministry until He had received the Holy Ghost baptism.Immediately after the Holy Ghost baptism after His water baptism in Jordan, Luke 2:23 immediately tells us He was thirty years of age. It says, *"And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age,"*This age of thirty is the required age stipulated in Numb 4:3, 35, 39, 43, 47 which all say *"....From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.*There is power in the Spirit.Wait for Him to come in His power. The power of the Spirit, evident by Holy Ghost baptism, is not an impersonal force, influenced by personal feelings. It is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit by which Jesus and His glory and works are present with His people.May you be full of power by the Spirit of the LORD and of judgment, in Jesus name.*Remorse corner.*Jesus did not start ministry until He had received the Holy Ghost baptism.

*Call to Word action.*Wait just as Jesus waited for the baptism of fire. Acts 10:38 *How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*Jesus did not go about doing good until He was equipped to do so.Pray to be equipped by the Holy Ghost. This is the source of commitment, dedication, and the foundation of the life of God in you.

*Prayer.*Lord fill me with the power of the Spirit of the LORD and of judgment.Lord equip me afresh in the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name.

Welcome to the month of March.May every day of this month be *THE DAY OF HIS POWER*May you be filled afresh every day of the month, in Jesus name.

Good morning, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
