Gen 41:46: *And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
When men trust and acknowledge God, they become strong and thrive in tough times.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Following up on Joseph from the age of 17 years when he has two dreams (Gen 37:1-10) to the age of 30 years when he was released to stand before Pharaoh (Gen 41:46 is a pointer to the truth that God stays with those who choose to stay with Him.
At the age of 30 years, life began for him when God exalted him onto honor and rulership.
He must now deal through emotions with his past.
Joseph's life teaches us further that:
First, life's struggles will come to an end, and there will be a new beginning if we faithfully stay with God.
Second, when he had dreams, he ignorantly told his brothers, not knowing they would hate him.
Third, at thirty, he was wiser with the way he dealt with dreams. In Gen 41:25, 28, He emphasizes God as the originator and interpreter of dreams. He showed Pharaoh the preeminence of God over the magicians of Egypt.
Not to say, Joseph did not know God when he had dreams at the age of 17, but one could say he was not too quick about the dreams before Pharaoh as he was before.
Joseph said something in Gen 41:16 that differentiated relating dreams by some self glorying and interpreting Pharaoh's dream totally giving glory to God.
His earlier dreams seem to be more in him or more about him. Jacob said to him
Gen 37:10 *".....Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?*
Though he was not the dreamer in Pharaoh's case, he made it known it was not all about him, but God
Gen 41:16 says, "And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.*
As a result of his glory to God, Pharaoh received an answer of peace, but Joseph did not receive an answer of peace from his brothers.
We must be patient unto maturity in the fulness of God.
Many challenges come our way to teach us.
His story teaches us that we may be the source of our own sorrows when we fail to do or say what could bring about an answer of peace from the Lord.
Do you wish to receive an answer of peace concerning your life's dreams or challenges?
Do not be hasty to share with just anyone.
Eventually, Pharaoh sought Joseph.
Seek Godly counsel.
Acknowledging God first in all that you receive by way of dreams will ensure that you receive an answer of peace.

Proverbs 3:6 *In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.*
*Call to Word action.*
Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams (Dan 2:1) and sought Daniel for an interpretation. Daniel 2:19-20: *Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.*
*Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Let God know it is not in you or about you.
Say to Him '...it is not in me but in God.....*who....shall give...an answer of peace"*, Gen 41:16.
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me not to be hasty. Help me to receive an answer of peace when l call on You, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day.
God bless you.
