*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*A CHRONICLE OF COMMANDS*

*Scripture Treasure.*

1 John 3:8 *He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

The Commander expects that you be in your battle gear always.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

We are called, among many other Kingdom expectations, to destroy the works of Satan. It is a command stemming from the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through His birth, we are saved from the clutches of Satan and saved into the merciful Hands of Jesus, Matt 1:21.

Jesus's life was a chronicle of commands. Before He ascended, His last command was to disciple all nations (so that there will be none for the devil to inhabit), Matt 28:19.

The commands start from: you must be born again, John 3:3, follow me, Matt 4:19, 9:9, 8:22, Luke 5:10 and to the giving of authority in Matt 10:1: *And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.*

These are ultimately sealed by the equipping of the saints by fire, Acts 1:8, Acts 2.

Repression, oppression, persecution and other known evil are the bane of satanic rules over vulnerable and gullible hearts.

By the Devil's evil, he is reffered to as the prince of the power of the air, Eph 2:2.

He has since operated in Gen 3, John 8:44. Jesus warned of his presence saying in Luke 10:18 *And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.*

He followed up in Luke 10:19 *Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.*

With these chronicle of commands and many others, we must destroy satanic opposition with all the spiritual weapons available to us.

To protect its territory every commander adopts first, a police action. If the situation becomes tense, he adopts a military action.

Our war against Satan demands more than a police action. It requires a military action in full combat gear,

This is why we are reffered to as a soldier and we are advised as such in 2 Tim 2:3 and in conjuction with warring in 2 Tim 2:4.

God is a role model and as our Commander, He is a man of war, Exd 15:3, so also is Christ, Matt 21:44, Luke 19:27, 20:18.

You must know your Commander and Commandant ( our Lord Jesus) and you must be ready for military action!

Eph 6: 16-17 say *Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.*

*And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:*

How ready are you?

*Remorse corner.*

Are you combat ready?

*Call to Word action.*

Ephesians 6:11  *Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Eph 6:14  *Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;*

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me to always be combat ready, a terror to the kingdom of Satan and a destroyer of his hierarchy of evil, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
